LOOKING FOR LOU
< full band >
Looking For Lou is a group of seasoned musicians that focus on playing vintage rock music. You know "the good stuff". Anything from Tom Petty to The Beatles to Otis Redding to REM to Pink Floyd to Jackson Browne to The Rolling Stones to Jimmy Buffett.Just to name a few.
We also have our own originals songs pulling from Jay Stewart (our singer/guitarist) self published tunes as well as some brand new songs that we are currently working on with Phil Bright of Louisville Recording Company to record an album.

Looking For Lou was formed by it's three core members: Jay Stewart, Ryan Spurlock, and Tyler Prather. A few years back Ryan and Tyler helped Jay out by playing as a trio for a special event. The chemistry between these three kicked in right away and they knew that they had something special. Therefore, they decided to form a full band and call it Looking For Lou which was a "hat tip:" to Jay's Uncle Lou who was in the music business for years and worked with the Eagles, Jimmy Buffet, as well as some other legends such as Elvin Bishop back in the 70s.
Our current full line up consists of: Jay Stewart (guitar/vocals), Ryan Spurlock (percussion/vocals), Tyler Prather (keyboards), Josh Parks (bass/vocals), and Mike Prather (mandolin/guitar/vocals) |
